Talks and Webinars for Schools, Scout Groups & Brownies and Libraries
Does this sound like your group?
The children are bright, curious, and eager to take part in their learning
You want a talk that is educational, fun, and truly engaging
You find that many talks aren’t interactive enough
You’re looking for a speaker with real experience delivering child-friendly, age-appropriate sessions
If so, I’d love to work with you.
How often do children still talk about a visiting speaker long after they’ve gone?
Why these talks matter
Kindness starts at a young age. When we nurture compassion and practical skills early on, children are more likely to carry kind and responsible behaviour into later life and other settings.
Cats are a huge part of our lives and culture, yet they are often misunderstood. Supporting children to understand how to interact with cats respectfully – and when to give them space – helps keep both children and cats safe and happy. Many scratches and bites can happen with cats a child already knows, often due to misread body language. Cats can also suffer with stress leading to challenges such as not using the litter tray or hiding. Education can make a real difference.
What’s included?
A 1-hour interactive session with a qualified cat behaviourist and trainer
A choice of focus: cat care, cat behaviour, or cat body language and safety
A cat safety or care booklet for each child to take home
Plenty of time for questions (children ask some of the best ones!)
