I was referred to Lisa through my vet, as my rescue cat was exhibiting several anxiety-driven behaviours such as excessive vocalising, clinginess, fear of visitors and food insecurity. It was at the point that it had become almost impossible to manage, and I had been unable to establish the cause or work out a solution.

Lisa performed an in-person home assessment, and was quickly able to identify the likely triggers for the behaviours. She also observed both of my cats interacting with each other, and pointed out a couple of subtle fear-based behaviours that my cat was displaying, and that I had not realised were signs of stress. Lisa provided a number of incredibly helpful methods to manage the behaviour issues, and made recommendations about changes I could make to the environment and schedules for both cats. I was especially impressed that she correctly recognised my other cat’s toileting problems could be due to arthritis - this was later confirmed to be the case by the vet, and not something that I had considered at all!

We had two online follow-up sessions to monitor how my cat was responding to the adjustments, and Lisa provided lots of guidance and support throughout the process to ensure the plan was both feasible and effective. She also suggested a number of strategies that could be helpful for specific stressful situations, such as grooming, travelling to the vet, and introducing her to new environments.

There has been a huge improvement in my cat’s behaviour, and she is clearly much more settled and confident. I found Lisa to be incredibly patient, approachable and non-judgemental, and also extremely knowledgeable and insightful.

I am so grateful and happy with the outcome - as are my cats! We could not recommend Lisa enough! :)

I really love felines and do all that I can to learn about their behaviour.

I’m here to help you make your cat or kitten’s life even happier. I do this through behavioural understanding, environmental changes, and sometimes training. Sometimes your cats behaviour may feel upsetting, stressful and
frustrating. I get it. I’m here to support you with your relationship with your cat and lay the foundations to prevent problems. You may be thinking, ‘why didn’t someone tell me this sooner!’ The internet and books can only go so far.

Cats are enigmatic and mysterious creatures. I can help you to bring out their best nature and help you to ensure they are the happiest that they can be. You
know what your cat likes best so we can incorporate this in to the behavioural modification plan when working together. We are a team and you are not alone.

I provide cat consults in St Albans and Harpenden and international cat consultations.

Cats are individuals and what is right for one cat may not be right for another
therefore I take notes in the initial consultation to decipher whether this is the
right service for you and you cat. Some behavioural prevention services I provide
may not require vet referral, however I may need to get confirmation from your vet in the case of any medical challenges your cat may have. I’ll let you know once we speak.

Hello, I’m Lisa.

Lovely to meet you. Thank you for taking the time to visit my website.
