For cats who are showing aggression
Living with a cat who has bitten and clawed you can be really worrying.
You may feel stressed and on edge at home and understandably take extra precautions especially if there are older people or children visiting. Your mental health may be suffering and you feel alone. You don’t have to face this on your own.
What’s included in the consultation?
I will discuss with you your situation in detail and I do pre - consultation research on your cats' clinical history and the questionnaire before we meet too. I can then provide first aid advice (advice to manage the problem until we meet).
The consult is 1.5 hours long - it can be held online on Teams or if you are within a 15 mile radius of AL1.
There are then 2 x 1 hour follow up sessions to support you and your cat and answer any questions
I create a behavioural timeline that looks at when the behaviour started with your cat and triggers.
I look at the motivations, emotions and triggers of the behaviour and help explain these to you.
I provide an action plan in the form of a report that fits into yours and your cats life with actionable steps.
I give advice on different scenario’s such as vet trips and holidays and anyone who may care for your cat.
I provide a report to your vet and liaise with them if needed and keep you updated with this information.
I can help you fill out any insurance forms that you may like to complete to claim back the money.
I provide an hour’s worth of support and we check in after 1 month 3 and 6 months
Investment £499
How to get started
Contact me to discuss what challenges you are having (if there is a wait list, I can always recommend other professionals so you are getting the support you need)
Then contact your vet and explain you would like to work with a behaviourist and the problems you’re facing
If they are happy to refer , I will need this form and your cat(s) clinical history.
We will then set up a date to meet and I’ll send over the booking form which has a helpful questionnaire included.
I will then send over some initial management advice to support you prior to the consultation.
“Thank you for all your help. We’ve done the re- introduction and there is no hissing or growling at all - so we are definitely seeing progress.” Megan , London
